Support Your Lake County Parks

Your contribution provides invaluable benefits to all citizens of Lake County by nourishing one of our county’s finest assets: its parks.

A message from the President of the Lake Parks Foundation, Kevin Clinton

The Lake Parks Foundation gives supporters of Lake Metroparks an avenue to enhance an already fine resource. This is done by funding programs and projects that are focused on education. In the 30 years LPF has existed it has helped educate thousands of children, supported the care of thousands of animals at the Wildlife Center and funded hundreds of projects. Thank you for your continued generous support.

Conservation

With the support of our donors, we have been able to provide unique funding for staff and programs at the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center. Some of the project we have funded include the new livestream cameras at the wildlife center where anyone can enjoy the growth and development of bobcats, fox kits and other wildlife as they recover and prepare for release back into nature.

Education

Our donors have provided us the opportunity to provide unique funding for wildlife education and outreach for children of all ages. Each year we grant scholarships to over 500 school children to share in exciting environmental programs that expand their understanding of nature through hands-on learning.

Recreation

To commemorate our 30th anniversary, we hosted a free community day at Gully Brook Park where children and adults were able to paint rocks, go hiking and take guided tours, look for Geo cache and learn about the bird of prey during the Raptor Encounters show.
